The Most Positive Person I Met

A few years ago, I was volunteering, doing promotional work.
I was handing out brochures to people on the street and letting them know about the meditation I do.
I met people from all walks of life.
Rushed people with no time to smile.
Beautiful people who were healthy and fit.
I saw people get out of expensive cars in a busy state.
One man who walked past me was a cripple.
He used a walking frame.
When he walked, he dragged his foot along the ground.
He walked very slowly, holding the frame.
He looked like he was in his 40s.
I gave him a brochure.
Innocently, he looked at the brochure.

“Meditation, ah yes, I can see how that would help people,” he said thoughtfully.
He was the friendliest person I met.
Because of his disability, he could not live a normal life.
And maybe no one wants to marry him.
“Have a good day”, I said when he folded the brochure and put it in his pocket.
He looked at me and said:
“Have a good year.”
He was so positive.
He couldn’t even walk.
He was the most positive person I met.
