Last week I took a Korean Air flight home from South Korea to New Zealand.
I was scrolling through the movies when I came across How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.
I had seen the movie title a long time ago, but had never watched it.
I thought it would be a chic flick and not my taste.
When I first saw the movie title, negativity came up in my mind.
I didn't want to know how a woman would leave a guy in 10 days.
So I scrolled past it looking for another movie.
But then a thought came into my mind.
'What if I'm wrong, maybe it is an okay movie?'
I didn't know until I had watched it.
So, I turned it on.

Review
How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days was released in 2003 starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.
A fashion columnist Andie (Kate Huson), is assigned to write an article on how to drive a man away in 10 days. She starts dating Ben (Matthew McConaughey), a charming professional. Unknown to her, Ben is trying to win a bet by making a woman fall in love with him in the same amount of time. As Andie uses over-the-top tactics to push him away, Ben plays along. However, their antics backfire when they both start developing real feelings for each other...
I thought it would be a chic flick, however, it turned out to be a very funny film that both women and men can relate to.
It had moving scenes and I cried in one part of the movie.
It's nice, as ultimately both of them could not fake it forever, eventually their true selves shine through.
When genuine feelings were shown, they forgot their original intentions.
If you are on a flight with nothing to do or just looking for a light, funny movie, then How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days may be worth a watch.
