A recent blood test revealed my B12s were low.
My doctor said B12 is a required mineral for blood formation and nerve function including the brain. We get B12 in meat, fish, eggs, dairy...
He advised I consider a B12 shot or supplement.
A friend of mine had also taken the B12 injection and recommended I take it.
She said she felt more energy and less lethargic in the mornings.
Not thinking it would do much for me, I decided to give it a go seeing that health is important.
I got the injection in the arm...
The following morning, I had more energy!
I asked the nurse why some people are low in B12's.
She said medication can affect B12 absorption into one's system.
And in some cases, it can run in the family (ancestors' genes).
"Even if someone has a balanced diet, some people are still low in B12's"
I realized a general health check up is important.
A blood test can reveal what your body might need.
Maybe you don't need a triple shot of coffee in the morning?
Maybe you need a B12 shot!
