Cascade Kauri is a lovely bush walk through native trees and a flowing river.
The start of the track can be found at Cascades Kauri Parking Space, located at the end of Falls Road off Te Henga Road, near Bethells Beach.
The entrance to the car park itself is spectacular with the road running literally through a golf course.

A 40 minute drive from Auckland CBD, it was well worth it.
Clean public toilets are located beside the car park.
There are a number of tracks that start here. A 40 minute loop, 1.5 hour or a 4.5 hour loop track.

We did the 40 minute loop, an easy well formed walk - it is in boardwalk for large parts. There are no steps within the loop making it easy for families or older people. The sign says 40 minutes, but it could be done in 30 minutes.
The river itself is beautiful with so many native trees.
During one section of the walk, a river can be seen cascading down large stones, placed perfectly by Nature.

My soul is healed in the bush.
I highly recommend this easy walk as an escape from Auckland City.
I would love to come back here 🙏
