Gratitude Journal
Journaling is a great way to build gratitude.
1. Purchase a journal / diary
2. Every day write down one or a number of things you are grateful for that day.
For example:
Today I am grateful for the togetherness I experienced at the beach
Grateful for the beautiful morning swim
Grateful to go to the movies with friends
Grateful to my brother who made me my lunch sandwich
Grateful to laugh with my brother's girlfriend
Grateful to be able to accept someone's opinion
Grateful to see I have negative judgments towards others that are hurting that person and myself
Grateful that I could help someone else
