When My Mind Is Open, The World Is Here - Reflections On The Mind After A Music Video

Today, I made a music video, recording a new song of mine (I will share the video once complete in another post). A producer filmed me, and we did 7 takes before I was happy with the final take.

A lot of emotion came out, and I was very tired a couple of hours after we had finished filming.

After the recording session, my mind was open to possibilities. I could see the bright world.

Walking around the city, I reflected on my state of mind.

I could see my thoughts. And how quickly the mind changes depending on what's in it.

The sky is open; opportunities are here.

However, the mind can close instantly, like a black door closing shut.

If I decide something is not right, then that's it. And the scary part is that that is just my mind. That is how I am seeing the world.

Everything comes the way my mind opens.

Open when my mind is here, open to opportunities.

When my mind was open, I walked the street, enjoying window shopping and watching the nice cafes and vibe. If I decided it was time to leave (even though I had time), then instantly there was no further opportunity to enjoy the view.
