The Beautiful Game from Heaven

I have been following the soccer world cup.

This week I watched England play France in the quarter-final.

The English captain scored their first penalty with roaring success from the crowd.

Hero!

However, later in the game, the captain missed a vital penalty that could have levelled the score.

The next day I read an article criticizing the captain's performance.

It made me think about how quickly we change our minds.

A hero one moment, and then blamed the next.

When something goes my way I am happy, when something does not go my way, I am unhappy.

In the Universe, the sun always shines.

Forever alive and unchanging.

The Universe watches the beautiful game from heaven.
