Sometimes I would try and wake up 10 minutes earlier, however, I could never make it a permanent change.
I would always say "tomorrow I will get up 10 minutes earlier”. I would set my alarm. But when the alarm would sound, I would say “No way am I getting up now – 10 minutes more”.
However, recently I have been able to change.
This week I woke at 6.30am each day. My normal time was 7.15am.
I started 15 minutes earlier, then 30 earlier minutes, and now 45 minutes earlier.
Once my body is up and moving I start to wake up. I also accepted it is okay to be a bit tired.
