The forest is located on the south-eastern side of Rotorua, New Zealand.

Easy to find, plenty of parking and free.

Walking and biking trails, a 10 minute stroll or a long 8 km walk, there is something here for everyone.

Redwoods has been upgraded since I was a kid.

Redwoods Treewalk - a raised boardwalk through the trees, is now open day and night.

A new visitor centre and lovely nature based gift store makes this destination attractive to any Rotorua dweller.

Redwoods Forest is my happy place.

There is also a great big cafe called Eastwood a 2 minute drive down the same road from the visitor centre.
